THE BACHELOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (BBA)

Economics

The Economics curriculum is organized to reflect three levels. Level one introduces students to the fundamental principles of the study of economics combined with an exposure to the issues and problems studied by economists. The second level presents the course to students in greater depth and breadth to the theories and their application to real life situations and problems. In level three students are oriented to the methods and techniques of economic analysis and their application to problem solution. With the exposure and understanding of the principles and application of economic theories and analytic skills, students can better examine the ways in which people interact with their social, political and natural environments and the ways in which that interaction influence the production and distribution of goods and services within the various environmental constraints.

By this means, the programme in Economics at Omega College is aimed at preparing students with a basic business knowledge and economic awareness and skills needed to succeed in private and public organizations. The degree is intended to prepare graduates to plan, organize and manage financial and human resource.
